Landing Pod (U.S.S. Discovery)
The U.S.S. Discovery carried a complement of one-man landing pods that could be used to explore the space outside the ship and to visit the surface of planets or asteroids when transporters weren't appropriate. The pods were highly maneuverable and were designed for a single pilot who sat in a transparent cockpit. Pike, Burnham, Connolly and Nhan used them as part of a mission to rescue crew from the wrecked U.S.S. Hiawatha. The Eaglemoss model is 7.25" (18.5 cm) long.
